Spam Filters in Shared Web Hosting
Our shared web hosting servers employ one of the best spam filters available on the market. It’s called SpamAssassin and is available with each hosting plan, so if you host your domains with our company, you can choose one of the five security levels that the filter offers for any mailbox that you have here. You can do this with only 2 clicks of the mouse from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that’s used to manage all shared hosting accounts. SpamAssassin checks the header section and the body of each and every email message, gives it a spam score and then continues based on the level that you’ve opted for. Every email account can have a different level and you can choose if the messages that the spam filter labels as spam should be deleted or forwarded to another mailbox where you can examine them later, so as to prevent erasing a legitimate message. Changing the level or deactivating the protection is also remarkably easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you get a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domain names hosted under the account, you will be able to enable the advanced, 5-level SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we provide and keep all unwelcome email messages away from your mailbox. This feature is accessible through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and it can be activated or deactivated for any email account whenever you wish. You can also change the level of safety with a couple of clicks in case spam emails still appear in your inbox or the email filter begins erasing legitimate email messages. As you can choose whether the spam should be erased immediately or redirected to another email account, you can create spam@domain.com, for instance, and check all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss an email message that you require. The emails that the anti-spam filter allows to go through will still be received in your mailbox.
